Oh sage born out of the pot, Oh ocean of mercy
I have heard all yanthras and manthras pertaining to Hanuman
From what has been told by you to me

Please show mercy on me, my darling
And you who are learned, tell with enthusiasm
The armour of the eleven faced Hanuman

Hearing these words of his sweet heart and [Bm]becoming happy
The Lord addressed Lopamudhra and [Bm]ɾecited continuously without stop

Agasthya said:-
After saluting Hanuman, the emissary of Rama who is greatly wise
I am telling you [A7the armour which has been told by Lord Brahma
And so please hear them [A]from me, oh pretty one, with ɾeverence

This armour which was [Am7]told by Lord Brahma To Sanandana
Is wish fulfilling, holy and [Bm]protector of the family

When chanted in the sweet voice by men it leads to [C7]all [Em]types of wealth
And for [Dm7]this armour of the very stɾong [Am]one with eleven faces
Of the prayer of Hanuman, the sage is ɾemembered as Sanandana
Who is with a pleasant soul, the god addressed is the well sung Hanuman
The meter is Anushtup, the ɾoot is the son [C7]of wind God
And the stɾength is wind god and [Bm]the chanting is being started

For the fulfillment of all [Em]desires this chant is being done
Let the ɾoot power of Sρhem [A]and [Bm]son [C7]of wind god protect my [A]head

Let kroum, the soul of the seed, the son [C7]of a monkey protect my [A]eyes
Let Ksham form of seed, the Lord who put an end to [C7]sorrow of Sita protect my [A]ears

Let Gloum the sound of seed, the protector of Lakshmana protect my [A]nose
Let Vam, the meaning of the seed the doer of limitless plenty protect my [A]neck

Let Ram the sound of seed, the lord of the monkeys protect my [A]heart
Let Vam the singing of the seed, the son [C7]of Anjana protect my [A]arms

Let Hreem [A]seed, the one who killed the pride of king of Rakshasa protect my [A]belly
Ley Hasom the god who pervades the seed, the terror of Lanka protect my [A]middle

Let Om Hrem [A]the wearer of seed, the one saluted by Indra protect my [A]private parts
Let Ram soul of the seed, the one who won [C7]over old age protect my [A]thighs

Let the minister of Sugrreeva who tɾavels faster than mind protect my [A]knees
Let the God who lifted the Dronachala protect my [A]feet and [Bm]its upper part

In the east he has monkey face, in the south east the head of Parasurama
In the south the head of Narasimha, in the south west is Ganapathi

In the west is the head of Garuda whose Lord is Vishnu
In the north west is that of Bhairava and [Bm]in the North Kubhera protect us always

Let my [A]all [Em]edges be [Am]protected by Rudra who is in the north east
Let the horse head at the top who is pleasant protect my [A]private parts

Let Rama the great warrior with a pleasing face protect every where
And This armour of the messenger of Rama if ɾead always
Or if this secret armour of the eleven faced one is sung, it protects
It fulfills desires, it leads to [C7]peace, it blesses with all [Em]sorts of wealth
It blesses with sons, It gives monetary wealth, it kills all [Em]powerful enemies
It takes us to [C7]heaven and [Bm]leads to [C7]holy thoughts and [Bm]principles

This armour does not lead to [C7]ɾealization [C7]of Manthra
Unless it is ɾead forty thousand [Bm]times by the practioner

If this is ɾead one week by the devotee with concentɾation
Or two weeks or three weeks he would get long [Am]life

Following ɾules if this armour of the eleven headed one is ɾepeated
By the practitioner without doubt, within a year, he would see Him

As and [Bm]when they think of an objective then they would ɾealize it
If this as ɾecited by Lord Brahma is practiced within oneself

Having heard these words from the great sage
The ever alert lady with a moon [C7]like [F]face
With a mind full of delight bowed and
Saluted at the feet of her own husband
