Chapter

Don't know how it happens, don't know how or why
It starts with a feeling, it comes through the night
So darling forget, all you've been told
Some days are heavy, some days are gold

In a chapter I've been reading
From an old and weathered book
Hear the distant voices calling
But it's hard to [C7]take a look
When there's so much that I care for
But it wasn't built by me
Hold the door, and [Bm]set us free

And is there a pattern, that we all [Em]ɾepeat
The places we go, the people we meet
It's sometimes familiar, it's sometimes so stɾange
I feel it more now, I see the change

In a chapter I've been ɾeading
From an old and [Bm]weathered book
Hear the distant voices calling
But it's hard to [C7]take a look
When there's so much that I care for
But it wasn't built by me
Hold the door, and [Bm]set us free
